What Channel Is the NASCAR O'Reilly Series Race On? Start Time and How to Watch

The next NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race is the Progress Group 250 at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, Oct. 24, and it's on The CW: coverage starts at 3:30 p.m. ET, which is 12:30 p.m. PT. Formerly the Xfinity Series, it has The CW for the three races that are left.
| Date | Race | Track | Start ET | CT | MT | PT | Channel |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sat, Oct. 24 | The Progress Group 250 | Talladega Superspeedway | 3:30 p.m. | 2:30 p.m. | 1:30 p.m. | 12:30 p.m. | The CW |
| Sat, Oct. 31 | National Debt Relief 250 | Martinsville Speedway | 4 p.m. | 3 p.m. | 2 p.m. | 1 p.m. | The CW |
| Sat, Nov. 7 | O'Reilly Series Championship Race | Homestead-Miami Speedway | 5 p.m. (EST) | 4 p.m. | 3 p.m. | 2 p.m. | The CW |
Each start time and channel in that table matches in two places: NASCAR's official O'Reilly Series race feed and the FOX Sports schedule for the series. NASCAR's feed gives the broadcast start in Eastern time, and we worked out the CT, MT and PT columns from it.
What channel is the NASCAR O'Reilly Series on?
The CW. NASCAR's race feed lists The CW as the television partner for all three remaining races, and the FOX Sports schedule shows The CW on each of them too. It is a broadcast network, so the races come in free with an antenna. Cable and live-TV packages that carry your local CW station work as well.
That is a different channel from the Cup Series. The Cup Series races on Oct. 25, Nov. 1 and Nov. 8 are on NBC. If you came looking for the Sunday race, the NASCAR Cup channel page has it.

What time does the O'Reilly race start?
Talladega is Saturday, Oct. 24, at 3:30 p.m. ET. NASCAR's feed puts the green flag at 3:30 p.m. ET as well, and lists the race at 94 laps, or 250.04 miles. Talladega qualifying is set for 11 a.m. ET the same day, per the feed.
Martinsville and Homestead-Miami each have their own weekend, and the feed lists practice and qualifying for them:
| Race | Practice (ET) | Qualifying (ET) | Race length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Martinsville, Oct. 31 | Fri, Oct. 30, 3 p.m. | Fri, Oct. 30, 4:05 p.m. | 250 laps, 131.5 miles |
| Homestead-Miami, Nov. 7 | Fri, Nov. 6, 4 p.m. | Sat, Nov. 7, 1 p.m. | 200 laps, 300 miles |
Those practice and qualifying times come from NASCAR's feed alone, so treat them as listed times. NASCAR's feed doesn't say which channel or app shows them, and we haven't confirmed it on an official page.
Can I watch the O'Reilly Series without cable?
Yes, with an antenna that picks up your local CW station. We haven't confirmed on an official page which streaming apps carry the live races this season, so we're not naming one. For radio, the feed lists MRN.
Why does Martinsville start at a different clock time?
Clocks change in between. Martinsville on Saturday, Oct. 31, is still in Eastern Daylight Time, with a 4 p.m. start. U.S. clocks go back on Sunday, Nov. 1, so the championship race at Homestead-Miami on Saturday, Nov. 7, starts at 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, which is 2 p.m. PT.
When does the season end, and what comes next?
This series ends its season with the Homestead-Miami championship race on Saturday, Nov. 7, one day before the Cup finale. Cup's finale a day later is covered on our NASCAR Championship Race page, and the weekend TV schedule shows every series on the same weekend. Our UFC start-time page covers the other big Saturday card, and the start times section lists everything we track. Our two-source rule explains how we check each time, and the about page covers the desk.
